Meeting Blue Dog Artist/Author

My mom has always wanted to paint a photo of Sid in the same style as George Rodrigue who paints the Blue Dog series. So, when I heard Mr. Rodrigue was coming to campus for a book talk/book sign, my mom and I planned to attend and we invited Kay to join us. He was very interesting, we had a really good time and he signed our books after the discussion.

I took this photo during our "snow storm" in Baton Rouge, LA back in December. I thought this photo really captured how freak the snow storm really was considering flowers were still in bloom.

I used Making Memories, American Crafts, Bazzill, and October Afternoon products.

3rd Anniversary

I can't believe it's been three years. I love you Kip!

Spring is here

Spring is definitely here in Louisiana. March is by far my favorite month! The flowers are all blooming and the weather is great. We are outside almost everyday enjoying the reason why we moved to the south.
